Jeff was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 1st Round of the 1993 amateur draft. He debuted as a 20-year old on June 28, 1996, against the Toronto Blue Jays, throwing 5.2 shutout innings to earn the win. His best year came in 2000 when he carried a 2.66 ERA through 162.1 innings of work. Standing 6’7” tall, Jeff was tagged with the nickname “Big Daddy” due to his ability to tower over opponents.
